Products
Due to the use of natural materials, the colour and tone of each product may slightly vary. The handmade nature of the item also means that size may vary by a small amount from the specified dimensions. If buying a product whose design is repeated, the item purchased may vary slightly from that pictured.
Some product designs are unique and if purchased you will be receiving exactly the item photographed. Other product designs are repeated, so you may not be receiving the exact item in the photograph. If this is the case it will be clearly stated in the product description.
The designs illustrated on this site are, unless otherwise stated, original works by Sarah Le Breton and are the subject of copyright and design rights. Copyright, design, and other intellectual property rights in those designs, together with copyright in the photographs, other images, textual descriptions, and all other works on this website, belong exclusively to Sarah Le Breton. Those designs and any other works may not be copied or otherwise reproduced in whole or in part except with Sarah Le Breton’s express written consent, personal to the requesting party.
Provided that I, Sarah Le Breton, have no objection to non-commercial users making limited examples of my [teaching] designs for the purpose of practising their technique and building their skills. Further provided that no such basket is sold or offered for sale or otherwise disposed of for value. All rights reserved.
Lead In Times & Delivery: Due to items being made to order and their bespoke nature, on ordering your product you will receive an approximate lead in time. Once your item is ready I will contact you with delivery details. Delivery method may vary depending on size of product and destination of item. Once an item has been dispatched I will inform you by email of the delivery company being used along with any tracking number. Please inform me of any special delivery instructions for your item.
Returns and Refunds: You are entitled to return your item within 14 days of delivery. Refunds are not offered unless an item arrives damaged. If you do receive an item that is damaged then please contact willow@sarahlebreton.co.uk within 48 hours to arrange a replacement. If you’re returning a product because it is faulty I will pay the return delivery costs. If you return goods to me, please use an insured method of dispatch and obtain proof of posting. I cannot accept liability for returned items being lost or damaged in transit.
Customer Care: If you require any further information or advice about products please contact willow@sarahlebreton.co.uk
Gift Vouchers
Gift vouchers are valid for 2 years from date of issue. Gift vouchers are non-redeemable for cash, non-transferable and resale is prohibited. Once a date on my Willow Day Workshops or at a Bespoke Weaving Experience has been secured by gift voucher holders, then all normal Willow Day workshop course terms and conditions apply.
Willow Day Workshops & Bespoke Willow Experiences
Please note that the term ‘workshop’, used extensively below, refers to both Sarah Le Breton’s Willow Day Workshops and Bespoke Weaving Experiences.
Places on workshops and other courses are only allocated on a ‘first come, first serve’ basis on receipt of full payment. Before booking I request that you read the following terms and conditions.
Cancellation & Request to Change Workshop Date Policy
Cancelling your workshop place: If I have received your payment and you cancel before 14 days prior to your chosen course date I do not offer a refund unless I am able to fill your place or if you can find someone to take your place. If your place is filled, I will refund your payment fully, minus a 10% to cover administration charges. In such circumstances, I will make every reasonable effort in the time I have available to find someone to take your place.
If I have received your payment and you cancel within 14 days of the course date, or pay but do not attend, no refunds will be given.
Changing the date of your Willow Day Workshop: As soon as you have secured with payment your place on a chosen date at one of my Willow Day Workshops the above cancellation policy applies. I am unable to change the date of your Willow Day workshop unless someone else fills your place. This is because if I were to swap you to a later workshop date, whilst not being able to fill your place on the original date, I would incur a direct loss of income which I am unable to afford.
Please not that if you wish to cancel a place or change the date of your workshop and you are part of a group booking (2 or more people), I am only required to offer a refund, (if you are eligible for a refund), for the 1 place, or if eligible, change the date of the workshop for the 1 place. I am not required to offer refunds or change the date of the Willow Day Workshop for anyone else in the group booking. This t&c includes Covid-19 illness.
In the highly unlikely event of a course or workshop being cancelled, I will endeavour to offer you an alternative date or will refund your full payment. On cancellation of a Willow Day Workshop, I do not accept liability for any associated costs, i.e. accommodation or travel costs.
Accessibility: Whilst I aim to make all my courses as accessible as possible, please note that willow weaving is a physical activity and often far more strenuous than people imagine! To gain the most out of your day, a good level of mobility as well as finger dexterity and hand strength is required.
It is your responsibility to assess your own physical health and suitability for a willow weaving course at the time of booking and on the day of your workshop. If you have any mobility, accessibility or physical health issues do please contact me prior to booking your place.
Unless stated otherwise, all my willow courses are for adults. I will however accept 14+ year olds when they are accompanied by a responsible, participating adult.
Photography & Filming: Whilst I welcome all workshop participants to make notes and take photographs, filming is strictly not permitted.
Any photographs taken by Sarah Le Breton, or other workshop/course/event/project organiser may be used at our discretion for publicity purposes. Please let Sarah know if you are attending a course or event and do not wish to be featured in photographs.
Willow Commissions & Bespoke Organisation Workshops
Unless otherwise agreed beforehand, on acceptance of a commission or bespoke organisation workshop course proposal, a deposit of 40% of the total cost is required before the commission commences or 28 days prior to the bespoke organisation workshop date.
On completion of the commission or bespoke organisation workshop an invoice will be issued for the remaining 60% cost. Payment is required within 14 working days, (unless specifically agreed in writing beforehand). This ensures that business costs are kept as low as possible. If payment is not received within 30 working days, at her discretion, Sarah Le Breton will levy an additional 15% interest charge to cover any additional business costs that have been incurred.
