Using rush material harvested from the river Isle, Somerset in 2022, Sarah reseated five iconic mid 20th century Italian chairs.

Designed by Vico Magistretti these beech wood frame chairs had large drop in seats that had been previously upholstered. During this project Sarah taught herself how to rush seat using the continental method. Having been able to study an original seat, created in fine reed mace, Sarah adapted the pattern and used river rush, harvested herself, to complete the project . 2024.
