Shop:
I’m very excited to let you know that I have created an exclusive range of willow baskets that are now for sale at www.sarahlebreton.co.uk/shop
Having over the last couple of years developed my own style, I’ve taken inspiration from heritage willow baskets and used traditional English techniques to design and create baskets that are perfect for modern living. All baskets are handwoven by myself, price includes UK mainland P&P and they make ideal Christmas gifts! The collection includes my ‘B’ Basket, an interpretation of a traditional Berry Basket at £75, and the English Willow Garden Basket, my contemporary interpretation of a garden trug at £135.
Gift Vouchers: Ideal Christmas, birthday and anniversary gifts for family, friends or colleagues. Vouchers enable priority booking for my workshops. I now offer vouchers as full (£105) or part (£55) payment towards my workshops. To purchase your gift voucher please email me at willow@sarahlebreton.co.uk You can also find out about my gift vouchers in more detail by heading to www.sarahlebreton.co.uk/workshops
Exhibition:
It was great to be part of the highly successful Nourish Exhibition held at the Crafts Study Centre in Surrey from August until the end of October. As one of 16 full time UK professional makers being showcased, I chose to create exhibits that explored the potential of indigo dyeing white willow. This culminated in my whole willow seating a beautiful Arts & Crafts movement chair that was designed in the 1890’s by Ernest Gimson.
For the Nourish exhibition I also created a 3 minute film about myself, my workshop and Nigella my VW campervan. Head to www.sarahlebreton.co.uk/about to watch!
Thank you for your continuing support and I do hope that you will be joining me in early 2023 to create fantastic willow baskets!
Best wishes, Sarah
