White Willow Wave Baskets

Having always admired the oval basket illustrated on the front cover of the brilliant Complete Book of Basketry Techniques, early on in my basket weaving I decided to create my own interpretation in white willow.

This basket has a distinct 'wave' and reminds me of a bodice.

I also chose to create a larger High Wave basket, (less practical but perfect for carrying wine!)
