Autumn 2021 Willow Day Workshops Announced Today! 13/7/21
I am pleased to be announcing my September – December Willow Day workshops today. Excitingly, alongside my existing popular basketmaking workshops I have created a new Zigzag Weave Lampshade Willow Day. With natural materials becoming ever more evident in our homes, it made perfect sense to create a workshop that combines an innovative weave and beautifully coloured willow in a sculptural lampshade.
My 9 Willow Day workshop dates are today being sent out to my MailChimp newsletter list and advertised here on my website Courses page. To book your place/s please click on the “Make A Booking Enquiry” tab. You are then invited to fill in and submit the booking form. I will get back to you via email with the workshop availability and payment instructions. I work through bookings on a strict date and time basis, (I have to do this for my own conscience!) and will reply to you as soon as I can.
I’m incredibly grateful for how popular my Willow Day workshops are. This does however mean that if you wish to attend, you need to act fast! Workshop places are only allocated on a ‘first come, first serve’ basis on receipt of both your completed Booking Enquiry Form / Phone Call and your full payment.
For the best chance of securing your Willow Day place/s I strongly advise you to offer me a 1st and 2nd choice of date and, (if attending with family/friends), make one group booking – all this will be gratefully appreciated!
Having now taught 23 of 26 Spring / Summer Willow Day workshops since April, mainly fulfilling workshop places for 80 already paid but pandemic postponed lovely people, I will be taking a well earned break during the summer school holidays.
On my return in September I will not only be teaching my own basketmaking Willow Days but also finally returning to teaching for the RHS and at the Somerset Rural Life Museum. Alongside teaching I will be able to dedicate more time to my increasing amount of commissions, especially those that involve whole willow seating furniture, sculptural lighting, and to my heritage basket collection. Exciting times!
