Willow Handbag

My large willow handbag, which I have used daily, was made at a two day workshop in July 2019 with the very talented Jenny Crisp. Described as, "the basketmakers' basketmaker", Jenny has truly captured the spirit of our craft form and it's current revival. This oblong handbag, made using Jenny's multicoloured homegrown willow utilises a catalan base with a double rod english rand weave. The recipe for this basket can be found in Jenny's wonderful book "Willow".
