Using beautiful white willow and basketmaking techniques including skeining and scalloming it was an absolute joy to create this willow seat.
Being the first piece of furniture that I ever owned this seat, (formerly rushed), means a lot to me. It was great to practice my willow weaving skills and give my lovely chair a new lease of life.
Having willow seated this chair I embarked on an amazing journey and am now willow seating original Arts & Crafts chairs that were designed and made by leading furniture designers of the movement.
