Willow Day Workshop September – December Dates out soon but meanwhile Late Cancellation Places for June & July now available! – 14/6/21
As promised, I will be announcing 10 Willow Day Workshops that will be happening Sept – Dec as soon as I can, but meanwhile, as ever in this fluctuating time, I have now had a flurry of late cancellations for my June – July workshops dates.
Though why wait for the Autumn when you can make a basket with me now?! Since April I have been teaching again at Coates English Willow on the Somerset Levels and successfully following Covid-19 guidelines for teaching in an indoor venue. Although when possible, weather permitting, we have been basketmaking and willow animal creating outside in the living willow sculpture garden. If you would like to take up one of these cancellation places please email me at willow@sarahlebreton.co.uk or call me on 07905 342091. For full details of these workshops please head to my sarahlebreton.co.uk/courses page.
Availability as follows:
Friday 18th June. Zarzo Basket Willow Day. 2 Places now Available.
Friday 2nd July. Beginners Round Basket Willow Day. 3 Places now Available.
It’s always worth contacting me about the current availability of my workshops. Even if the Willow Day that you would like to book onto is fully booked on my website courses page, due to the way life as it is at the moment, cancellations do occur, often at very short notice.
Very excited about launching my new Willow Days for September – December. These will include another 2 Day English Traditional Technique Basketmaking workshop, at which you can make a lovely log basket or decent size shopping basket using colourful willow grown at Coates. A new Willow Day will also enable you to explore the beautiful ‘zigzag’ weave technique, enabling you to weave a lampshade or basket.
Also, if you haven’t done so already, sign up to my MailChimp newsletter at www.sarahlebreton.co.uk/contact You’ll receive my news and next set of Willow Day Workshop dates before they’re released to the general public.
My next 2 weeks are very busy, teaching 5 Willow Days as well as harvesting rush material from the river Isle. Hoping for lots of sunshine and time to keep up with my commissions too! Sarah X
